You can move to WordPress admin panel then users and all users. Here you will see all of your user roles as well. To change the role of the user, first select the user you want and then click Edit below the username.
On the open page, look for the Introduction section. Choose the user role you want, select the editor or administrator, and then click Update User to save your changes. Once you’ve saved your changes, try changing the author of a post in WordPress.
